TP3 Global, a leading manufacturer of bespoke thermal protective solutions, sees international expansion as the future for valuable and profitable business growth.
The business, which has its UK operation based in Solihull, is dedicated to the testing, design, manufacture and supply of thermal protective packaging for a wide range of industry sectors, including the pharmaceutical and perishable logistics industries, which often rely on purpose-built protective temperature packaging control prepared to bespoke environments.
The company which already has centres of excellence in the UK, covering EMEA and the Americas, as well as India for India and Asia Pacific, sees the need for further international expansion in order to satisfy the supply and demand from clients worldwide.
“TP3 Global has always measured its success on the ability to develop and adapt, not only our products, but also in the way we conduct our business relations. We have listened to our clients, who want to work with a worldwide contributor, and reacted to this through international expansion of the TP3 Global brand,” says Ray Slater, from TP3 Global.
“However, whilst we understand the international appeal for our existing clients, our challenge has always been to nurture this growth and reach out to new customers and to establish contact with key-decision makers.”
To help them investigate new markets, TP3 Global accessed funding via the West Midlands Business Export project, which aims to increase the number and competitiveness of West Midland small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) operating overseas.
A key element of this project is the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grant, which is available to eligible SMEs who are innovative or invest in research and development, and looking to increase their international presence.
TP3 Global secured the grant in order to develop market research, as well as attend international exhibitions, including the ‘Cool Chain & Controlled Room Temperature Logistics Europe’ conference in Luxembourg, which helped them to network and expand their business contacts.
“The grant has proved really useful, and support has been absolutely invaluable. It was the insight and expertise in these new markets, which were unfamiliar to us, which has allowed TP3 Global to make positive steps to create a strong awareness and grounding of new markets, from which we are now able to develop international business in the future,” adds Ray.
With plans now to further develop in the United States, the future of TP3 Global holds many great things to come.
